Desert Tortoise

Adobe the Desert Tortoise was taken from the wild illegally in Arizona and transported to Ohio during a time when this species status was federally endangered. The family believed she was an orphan at the time but know now that most reptiles and amphibians are on their own when they hatch. She also has a bone deformity from before she was with us causing the pyramiding you see on her back. We have had her since 1993!
